What is CCSE exam?

In October 2015 the parliament approved by law new requirements for obtaining Spanish nationality. From that same date, anyone interested in making this request must have an official or higher level of A2 Spanish, and have satisfactorily passed the CCSE test (constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain). Both tests are designed and administered by the Cervantes Institute. We know the importance of these tests, therefore, we want to help you to prepare them satisfactorily. In our center we will work with examination models prepared specifically for candidates who choose to obtain nationality.

What is exam format?
CCSE consists of 25 questions and is made up of 4 parts to test student skills: government, legislation and civil movement in Spain, culture, history and Spanish society.

What is exam duration?
You have 45 minutes to do an exam.

What is exam fee?
Exam fee is 85€. If you do not pass your exam, you will have a second attempt to take an exam which is free of charge only if you do it in the same examination centre.

When are the results of the CCSE known?
The Instituto Cervantes publishes the results of the tests approximately 20 days after the examination. It is not possible to obtain the qualification earlier. The results are found on an official website by accessing your profile. A notification about availability of results is sent to email mentioned during the registration.

Can I enter exam with expired passport?
No. Expired passports are not valid to enter exam center unless a proof a passport renovaxon and another valid document are presented.

When can I take CCSE exam?
